Today I like

Stubbornness.  I had sown a bunch of these guys way back when it was still freezing out.  The ground is full of roots from my maple tree, and rocks and moss make up more of the dirt than any other compound.  I had come to terms with the fact that none of them would sprout, so I haven't even been watering them.  And then I found this little guy today!

Then a speckled bird, humbly inspired, ran across the road when it could have flown, and it made me smile
