It sure is hard to post when you're knitting all the time

I have several updates in the works, mostly on stuff that happened quite a while ago.  The main reason for that is simply that I've been doing a lot of gift-related knitting lately, and the people who are most likely to have items knit for them are also the most likely to visit my blog (I call this the Obligation Principle).

One thing I'm working on is my very first ever knitted item for my husband, Joe.  This is weird because I've been knitting for about 5 years, and I've known him for about 7 years.  I think I probably should have made something for him by now, but I have a crazy aversion to knitting things for people who do not want knitted stuff, which is the kind of person Joe used to be.

USED TO BE.  Now, all of the sudden, he wants a knitted scarf and a sweater.  Both the most boring patterns ever.  But he wants them.  It's hard to fathom, but there it is.  If I don't die of boredom (and think YOU, dear reader(s), won't die of boredom by seeing them), I'll post them when they're finished.
